The Sights and Sounds of London
London really is a great place to visit, and if you are heading there soon, here are a few hints and tips that you can take with you!
Try to see as much of this great city as possible! We would advise that you buy yourself a week long railcard which allows you to travel on any of the public transport. Don’t make the mistake of buying a zone 1 railcard, because you are bound to find some places that are well worth the visit outside of this central area.
Be careful when booking your hotel in London. There are plenty of unsavoury places to stay. I would recommend anyone planning to find a hotel to search online for cheap hotels in London and from there just make sure you are selective. Find somewhere that has reviews and recommendations or you might find yourself staying somewhere somewhat less than salubrious!
Visit North London to hear the best of the city! All of the best music venues are situated in North London, and Camden Town is littered with live music venues bug and small. Try The Dublin Castle for unsigned bands, and The Electric Ballroom for mid-sized touring bands.
For the best sights in London, you should travel to Highgate Hill. This area of London is really quite beautiful, and the view afforded in this region allows you to look out across all of London – something you will find hard to do from any other location in this great city.
