A holiday in New Zealand

Many years ago my grandparents moved out to New Zealand, and I had always planned on staying with them on a vacation at some point. I can’t believe it has taken me seven years to get around to travelling out there! New Zealand has always been on my list of places to visit, but it is quite a long way away, and I always presumed that it would cost me a fortune to get there. This year I decided that I had waited long enough – I was almost feeling embarrassed that I had not bothered to go and see my Grand parents in so long!

I started to investigate prices to get to their home town of Christchurch. It was meant to be a fabulous city right by the coast so it sounded perfect for someone like me who was so into water sports. Surprisingly I found some very cheap flights to Christchurch online and it didn’t seem to be much more than my flights had cost me to Greece last year!

I was so excited to finally be heading out to New Zealand. I would spent a week with my grand parents in Christchurch, and then I planned to head out of Christchurch and explore a little bit. I had heard some stories about some pretty spectacular bungee jumps and white water canoeing from some friends who had been there in the past, so I wanted to track these places down. One thing was for sure, I was going to have a great time in New Zealand!
