Tipping in India

India has an anonymous history of tipping to the workers as a prize for their work. Tips are given either got the completed service or is given beforehand in order to get the service ready in advance. Often in restaurants there is a tradition of giving tips to the waiters and servants for their good service.

People give tips on the basis of the status of the service or according to their social status. Tipping not only creates your image before the public but also lifts your social status. In general, 10 percent of the total fare or expenditure is considered as the best tip in India

Indian Visa Rules

The Foreign External Affairs Ministry is responsible for the issue of the visa and passport in the country. The people who want to stay in India should have a valid visa so that they might not face problems. The nationals of Bhutan and Nepal are only exempted from the above rule rather the people of Maldives should have visa for at least 90 days.

The fees taken for the visa is not refundable and the rules and regulation for the same are subjected to change.  Also the right of granting the visa is under the jurisdiction of The High Commission and the issue of the visa is not a pass to live in India. It may be cancelled under certain criminal cases or the act of fraud.
